Mason O’Brien
Technical Product Manager

Technical Product Manager
Mason grew up in and around the coatings industry, building a foundation that spans both hands-on field work and lab environments. Prior to joining Polymer Nation, he worked as a QC lab technician for a large Massachusetts-based coatings manufacturer, developing a strong discipline around testing, formulation integrity, and process control.
Today, Mason serves as Technical Product Manager, where he owns the intersection of product development, lab operations, and sourcing strategy. His role is centered on ensuring that every formulation is technically sound, every raw material is vetted and reliable, and every product meets the performance standards expected in the field. Whether he is working through formulation refinements in the lab, qualifying new suppliers, or aligning material inputs with production needs, Mason operates with a precise, methodical approach.
He remains closely tied to the plant and product lifecycle, collaborating on new product development and continuously improving how materials move from concept to customer. Mason takes pride in delivering accurate, transparent technical information and ensuring that what leaves the facility performs exactly as intended.
At his core, Mason values doing things right the first time and building long-term, trust-based relationships with customers through consistency, quality, and technical credibility.
